ICD Energy Managers needed a platform to automate aspects of their consulting services for their clients.

The brief
ICD Energy Managers focus primarily focus on industrial and commercial energy management. Their clientele often want to receive the market forecast along with insights regarding the price of energy which includes gas & electricity. This would allow their clientele to make educated decisions in regards to the amount of energy they purchase along with what quarter they purchase it in.

The Challenge
ICD Energy Managers wanted a ‘One Stop’ solution for their energy purchasing clients. Instead of clients coming to them to get market insights on the price of purchasing energy for a certain quarter, they could simply log on to the platform and view these insights themselves in order to make their decision. This would ultimately save the consultants at ICD Energy managers a considerable amount of time and also make the process of client communication standardised as the company is now looking to grow their teams.

MICHAEL RUFORFD
Energy Consultant
Nick works as an Energy Consultant for ICD Energy managers. His role involves getting the best energy deal for his customers.
He sends out reports to his customers (Accounts) and manages the energy invoices on behalf of the customers.
Frustrations
- Manually required to manage and send out all Invoices, Docs, and Market insights to clients which is very time consuming.
- Producing reports which is time consuming.
- Emailing clients is often time consuming and difficult to track.
Goals
- Wants a platform that allows him to manage invoices and documents for his customers.
- Wants his clients to be able to view his documents.
- Wants to improve his communication and relationship with with customers.

ALEX CRAWFORD
Accountant
Alex is the Lead accountant at Greggs in Newcastle. Her role involves purchasing energy in quarterly amounts for the Greggs Factories across the UK. She reports directly to the board and needs up to date meter data and prices.
She manages the energy buying for 200 meters. She needs market insights in order to make informed long term buying decisions.
Frustrations
- Having to rely on Nick emailing any information regarding energy prices and market trends instead of being able to check it by herself.
- Energy broker emails are often lost in a sea of other work related emails. She sometimes misses paying an invoice on time.
- Emailing clients is often time consuming and difficult to track.
Goals

Summary
ICD Energy managers was able to onboard two new clients which increased thier clientele pool by 25%. This was made possible by our new platform reducing friction betweem the energy broker and client. The CRM designed and developed will be served as a template and sold to other companies looking for similar services.
